How To Invest (BSC)

Zem Finance currently operates on the Binance Smart Chain as it's the most secure and well-funded blockchain to build on besides Ethereum (which we'll be expanding to soon as well).

Step 1

Create a MetaMask account, this will serve as your crypto wallet. You can do this by downloading the app on your phone and/or by downloading the Chrome extension here: https://metamask.io/

Please make sure to keep your seed phrase and login details safe, otherwise, your assets can get stolen.

Step 2

Add the Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask wallet. You can do so by following the instructions here: https://isitcrypto.com/add-binance-smart-chain-to-metamask/

Step 3

Option 1: Create an account with a centralized exchange if you haven't already (Coinbase, Binance, KuCoin, etc.). You will need to load funds onto your respective exchange and purchase BNB coin (Binance Smart Chain's native token).

If your exchange does not support BNB (i.e., Coinbase) you can buy any other crypto like Bitcoin or Ethereum and send it to another exchange account (like KuCoin), and then swap it for BNB there.

Option 2: Use OnRamper. Head to https://buy.onramper.com/ to purchase crypto quickly through their widget and send it to your MetaMask wallet directly. Please make sure you are purchasing BEP-20 BNB!

Step 4

Copy your MetaMask wallet address (by clicking on your account name at the top of the app/extension) and withdraw your BNB to this wallet address.

Make sure to get the address right and that you're on the Binance Smart Chain, if you send your assets to the wrong address they will be gone.

Step 5

You can now invest in whatever asset of your choice on Zem Finance (website), simply follow the buttons on the platform to invest in your desired asset.

You are not locked to Zem Finance, you can now use any protocol/platform on the Binance Smart Chain.
