Investing in Index Tokens

Index tokens are Zem Finance's primary offering. Index tokens represent a basket of goods in a specific industry. Our tokens are designed to track the performance of that industry - if DeFi coins are performing extremely well, so will the index. You can learn more about specific offerings by exploring our docs.

Step 1

Ensure you have enough funds in your MetaMask (or equivalent) wallet to invest in your desired index token. You can learn how to setup and deposit funds into your wallet by clicking here.

Step 2

Head to https://www.app.zemfinance.com/ and open the "Index Tokens" tab. Find the Index Token you'd like to invest in.

Step 3

Click "Trade" and follow the trade on PancakeSwap. Enter your desired amount of the token. You may need to increase slippage to 2 - 8% to allow the trade to go by clicking the gear icon, although try going through with a lower slippage amount first.

Step 4

Approve the trade and then confirm your trade transaction with the MetaMask (or equivalent) transaction confirmation prompt.

You're now an owner of Zem Finance index tokens!

You can now consider using Zem Finance's Stake to generate additional yield from your index tokens.
